Since the hype began regarding the 2008 Presidential elections we have been following the field of candidates. Mitt Romney is one of the Republican candidates that stands out from the crowd. Considering the other candidates not knowing a lot about Mitt Romney, we kind of favored Ron Paul, because we are familiar with his service in Congress for Texas. We were impressed with his Constitutional support. We also found his uncompromising way of dealing with bills refreshing (It earned him the title of “Vote No Ron”. Though we knew little about Mitt Romney we were impressed with his responses in the debates. Then someone sent us a story that originated with his son, Taggert Romney, titled, Why I Think You Should Vote For My Dad. It reminded me of a scripture, “Reprove at times with sharpness”. Taggert told about loosing an anchor at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean and his father helping him learn that nothing is impossible.
That story caused a change of heart and we took a look at Mitt Romney impressive track record: Mitt Romney is quite wealthy, due to his successes in creating, managing and directing businesses. Romney is a former CEO of Bain & Company, a management consulting firm, and the co-founder of Bain Capital, a private equity investment firm. Prior to Bain, he worked for The Boston Consulting Group. When scandal and a $379 Million deficit brought the 2002 Winter Olympics Committee nearly to bankruptcy, Romney was asked to get involved by taking over as its CEO and organizer; Mitt accepted the challenge. If that was not a tough enough job already he was slammed with the events of September 11, 2001, three months before the Olympic games were to begin, causing security expenses for the olympics to soar over $300 million. In the face of it all Mitt Romney did the job and is credited for the incredible success of that event bringing in over $100 Million in profit from the event, while making the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City one of the most impressive events of its kind in this century. He also served as the 70th Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Elected in 2002, Romney served one term, which ended on January 4, 2007. When Romney was elected the State was in financial ruin with over 300 billion in debt—when he retired from office the State had over one billion in surplus and the change was accomplished without raising taxes. That was when people stated really pushing Mitt to run for President of the United States.
On Romney’s campaign website we found MittTV, which shows many short video clips displaying Romney’s politics; we must admit, it was impressive. However, we did find one chink in the candidates armor — that was his favor for the National ID card. When we hear the words “National ID card”, that is a deal breaker for us. We see such a thing as such an invasion into the private lives of the American people so as to be a complete violation of the securities guaranteed by our Constitution and by the Declaration of Independence that was the foundational document that rallied the people together to form this great country. It reminds us so much of the Mark of the Beast prophesied in John’s Revelation (Bible). It reminds us of God's Law restricting his children from being numbered.
Write down a list of all of the qualities you would like to see in a President of the United States, then compare the list to Mitt Romney, he will over shine the list; but is that enough to overcome the deal breaking support of the national ID card? That question brings us back to the reality of the choices available. If you compare that to the other candidates and to what anyone can actually expect a President to do, Romney comes out on top. No other candidate has the potential for as much good with as little a downside, especially considering that over 40 states have already outlawed the implementation of the national ID in their states. If Mitt Romney is elected and is then awakened to the truth about Corp. U.S. he will have the best chance of being the President that restores our original jurisdiction government and preserves our freedoms, our rights and our Constitutional Republic—he is the only candidate with the skills and experience that would allow him to get that job done if he rises to the occasion.
If Mitt wins the primaries and goes on to winning the election, we expect he will be able to do more than any other candidate to move our nation back to a position of greater liberty and prosperity, but at what cost if we have to suffer the loss of privacy that a national ID system would compel. Only Ron Paul has professed the intent of removing the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. and Homeland Security Acts along with the national ID program, but his candidacy (if elected) simply promises a continuation of his voting “No” and shows nothing about how he would fix the problems we face—also, he has not shown the executive skills necessary to lead Corp. U.S. back to its original jurisdiction; thus, Mitt Romney is likely the far better choice, all things considered.
For those of you involved in this election you have a tough choice before you, but whatever that choice is, you will not have a chance to make it count if you don’t first stop VoteScam so that you can actually cause your vote to have its lawful effect.
